Coordinating Web-Based Systems with Documents in XMLSpaces

چکیده
We describe an extension to the Linda model of coordination for Webbased applications. It allows XML documents to be stored in a coordination space from where they can be retrieved based on multiple matching relations amongst XML documents, including those given by XML query-languages. XMLSpaces is distributed and supports several distribution policies in an extensible manner. We describe the partial replication schema implemented in detail.

XMLSpaces for Coordination in Web-Based Systems
XMLSpaces is an extension to the Linda coordination language for Web-based applications. It supports XML documents as tuple fields and multiple matching routines implementing different relations amongst XML documents, including those given by XML query-languages. XMLSpaces is distributed with a clearly encapsulated open distribution strategy.
متن کاملRRLUFF: Ranking function based on Reinforcement Learning using User Feedback and Web Document Features
Principal aim of a search engine is to provide the sorted results according to user’s requirements. To achieve this aim, it employs ranking methods to rank the web documents based on their significance and relevance to user query. The novelty of this paper is to provide user feedback-based ranking algorithm using reinforcement learning. The proposed algorithm is called RRLUFF, in which the rank...
متن کاملWeb pages ranking algorithm based on reinforcement learning and user feedback
The main challenge of a search engine is ranking web documents to provide the best response to a user`s query. Despite the huge number of the extracted results for user`s query, only a small number of the first results are examined by users; therefore, the insertion of the related results in the first ranks is of great importance. In this paper, a ranking algorithm based on the reinforcement le...
متن کاملUse of Semantic Similarity and Web Usage Mining to Alleviate the Drawbacks of User-Based Collaborative Filtering Recommender Systems
One of the most famous methods for recommendation is user-based Collaborative Filtering (CF). This system compares active user’s items rating with historical rating records of other users to find similar users and recommending items which seems interesting to these similar users and have not been rated by the active user. As a way of computing recommendations, the ultimate goal of the user-ba...
متن کاملArabic News Articles Classification Using Vectorized-Cosine Based on Seed Documents
Besides for its own merits, text classification (TC) has become a cornerstone in many applications. Work presented here is part of and a pre-requisite for a project we have overtaken to create a corpus for the Arabic text process. It is an attempt to create modules automatically that would help speed up the process of classification for any text categorization task. It also serves as a tool for...
